Founded by seven community members and Head of School, Kathleen Sullivan, Jefferson RISE received its authorization from Jefferson Parish School Board in the fall of 2014. Within a year, the vision became a reality, as Jefferson RISE opened its doors in August 2015 to 120 sixth grade students. Growing by one grade per year, Jefferson RISE now serves 700+ students in grades 6-12.
