KATHLEEN SULLIVAN

Founder & Executive Director

 

Kathleen Sullivan is the Founder and Executive Director (Principal) at Jefferson RISE. Prior to opening Jefferson RISE, Ms. Sullivan participated in an intensive training program concentrated on the skills needed to design, found, lead and sustain a high performing charter school. An award winning teacher and instructional coach, she spent eight years working with at-risk students in an urban school district where she was celebrated for bringing innovation, excitement, and love of learning to the classroom. Ms. Sullivan has a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Fairfield University and a Master’s in Education from University of Bridgeport.
